🔧 Infrastructure Operations

• Assist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining trading servers and network devices at co-location data centres (NSE, BSE, MCX, NSEIX and IndiaINX).

• Work closely with the L3 lead on BIOS, IPMI/iLO, and firmware rollouts.

• Support racking, structured cabling (Cat6, Twinax, fibre), and power distribution (PDU).

🔐 Network & Firewall Management

• Configure and maintain routers, switches, VLANs, and basic routing.

• Implement and monitor firewall rules and network access policies under L3 direction.

• Conduct regular port scans, link testing, and latency benchmarking.

🐧 Linux & System Administration

• Support installation and configuration of Linux systems (Rocky, Ubuntu) and performance tuning tasks.

• Handle kernel module updates, driver installations (NICs, SFPs), and repo management under guidance.

• Provide support in virtualised environments (VMware, Xen, Hyper-V).

🌐 Procurement & Coordinatiion

• • Collaborate with vendors for quotes, hardware assessments, and logistics.

• • Manage asset tagging, licensing, and basic documentation for procurement workflows.

📡 Issue Escalation & Tier-2 Support

• Triage advanced issues from L1 team and provide resolution or escalate to L3 if needed.

• Document resolution steps and update knowledge base content.
